RAW NOVEMBER 9TH 2009

Josh Mathews is with The Miz in the interview area. Josh asks Miz about his team at Survivor Series and Miz reminds everyone that he was the only Raw wrestler to win a match and he defeated the captain of his opponent’s team. Miz says that his team is full of winners and the future of the company. Swagger interrupts the catchphrase and says that Miz is in awe of Swagger. Swagger tells Miz to watch what he is going to do to Evan Bourne tonight. Miz points out that he beat Bourne last week. They argue and then we go to commercial.

Evan Bourne versus Jack Swagger
In the middle of the match, The Miz came to ringside. Swagger tried to pick up Bourne for a suplex, but Evan hit him with a couple of knees to break it up. Bourne followed up with a kick and a Shooting Star Press for the win. After the match, Miz took the mic and said he's the captain at Survivor Series because he's The Miz and he's awesome.

    SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH PREVIEW

Team Morrison vs. Team Miz (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match)
It wasn’t long ago that John Morrison and The Miz were inseparable, the best of buds, the cutups in the back of class making fun of all the other students. That bond, however, snapped like a No. 2 pencil when their record as a tag team began to slide.

Now, the former friends will settle the score as captains of their respective teams in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. Morrison’s squad consists of Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin & Finlay, while Miz will command Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

At WWE Bragging Rights, Intercontinental Champion Morrison faced off against his nemesis, United States Champion Miz, in singles action. While the Shaman of Sexy dominated the bout early, the self-proclaimed Awesome One managed to counter Morrison’s devastating Starship Pain maneuver and captured the victory with a clean pin.

As generals leading their troops to battle, however, there are myriad variables that may affect the outcome. Can either Superstar really control the men they’ve been tasked to command? Will either team find a cohesive connection to overcome their opponents?

To find out, catch all the action as Team Morrison (John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin & Finlay) square off against Team Miz (The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger) at the 23rd annual Survivor Series on Nov. 22 at 8/7 CT, live on pay-per-view.

POWER 25 RANKINGS FOR NOVEMBER 7
    THE MIZ
    This Week: 5
    Last Week: 7
The Miz reaches his highest spot on the P25 after defending his championship against Evan Bourne on Raw. The Academy hates to admit, but this cocky Superstar might be as awesome as he claims to be.

Congrats to Mike on reaching his highest spot so far! Only a matter of time until he's at #1. ;)

INTERVIEW WITH WWE SUPERSTAR THE MIZ
Mike recently conducted a really great interview with Brian Fritiz of the Orlando Sentinel's "Between The Ropes" blog which is definitely worth a read. :)

Right now, you’re the United States Champion. You’ve been coming up through the ranks in the WWE. What is the experience like for you now especially coming from the reality world because I would think there’s a lot of people that question you and not take you seriously.
Yeah, there’s always been naysayers. There’s always people putting me down all the time and I look at that at something to motivate me with. All those naysayers and all those people that put me down have really motivated me to be where I’m at today and the reason why I’m there is because of those people. Some people are like “man, you get such a hard time and some people are so critical of you” but I’m like good, let ‘em be because that just fuels my fire. It allows me to do what I have to do to be the best at what I can be. So, all those people that always do that, keep on doing it. Keep on hating me. Keep on booing me. That’s fine because I will prove to you that without a shadow of a doubt that I am the best because I am The Miz and I am awesome.

Have you gotten a lot more respect from your peers as well because I’m sure they had some question marks seeing your past and your motives for getting into wrestling?
Oh yeah. That’s always a topic of conversation. People always ask me how does the locker room like you and the locker room has always hated me. I’ve never had too many friends in the WWE whether it was jealousy, whether they just didn’t like me because I came from the reality world. I find it amazing that WWE fans but also the locker room will take in MMA stars, they’ll take in football players, they’ll take in seven-foot tall people, you know. But a reality star comes in and oh, low and behold, he can’t fight. He can’t come into our business. I’m there just to prove everyone wrong, to prove to all those people that said he’s not supposed to be here, he’s just from a reality show. Let him host something. Let him host a Diva thing or something. I can actually wrestle and I can actually mean business and do what I say I am and actually be the best in the business.

    DIGITALS FROM FROM DUBLIN, IRELAND

WWE.com have added some digitals from the house show in Dublin, Ireland - I've added the ones of Mike (and one of some awesome Mizfits in the crowd) from his US Championship match against MVP. :)

HOUSE SHOW RESULTS FROM DUBLIN, IRELAND
11/4 WWE Raw House Show results from Dublin, Ireland:
Jack Swagger won a 14 man Battle Royal to earn a shot at the WWE Championship later in the night. The match featured Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Sheamus, MVP, Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, The Miz, Chavo Guerrero, Jack Swagger, Chris Masters, Randy Orton, Evan Bourne, Primo and Santino.

US Championship Match: The Miz beat MVP
The crowd was pretty dead for this one despite an excellent heel promo from The Miz and amazing in ring work and heel psychology. Again I think the deadness in atmosphere was because McManagement have not been too high on MVP recently and we are constantly been told by The King and Vintage Cole that The Miz is awful so the kids don't care for either.

MVP's work is ok but he has no personality as a face. But I can't understand the Miz hatred. At the moment only Orton and Chris Jericho are doing it better in the E. The Miz is fast becoming one of the best promo guys in the business and live, his in ring work and psychology was one of the best of the night. I can't understand all the hatred he gets. The Miz truly is AWESOME.
