NXT 22ND JUNE 2010

The Miz and Alex Riley made their entrance. MVP and Percy Watson were next out.

The Miz and Alex Riley vs MVP and Percy Watson
Watson was impressive in hitting two standing dropkicks. MVP tagged in and whipped Riley to the floor. Miz verbally berated Riley and then forced Riley to tag him in.

Miz gained the edge on Watson before tagging Riley back in. Cole said Miz was a great coach. "His rookie from season one was ranked at the top before eliminating himself." No actual mention of Bryan Danielson. Watson hit a jawbreaker and tagged in MVP.

Watson and Miz tagged back in and the non-legal men took each other out. This left Miz and Watson in the ring together. Miz closelined Percy across the top rope and followed up with the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Winners: The Miz and Alex Riley

    THE NXT INTERVIEW: ALEX RILEY
It’s no surprise to Alex Riley that he was chosen to be WWE.com’s first NXT Interview for season two. Why? Because the NXT Rookie is certain he’ll be No. 1 in the first Pros’ Poll and WWE.com Poll in less than two weeks. The confident scholar and athlete is also certain he’ll be the last man standing at the end of the competition.

WWE.com: What did you think about MVP’s speech about the week one initiation?
RILEY: I respect MVP and all of the WWE Pros, but I’m not positive I trust them. So I appreciated the speech. Obviously my WWE Pro wasn’t there. We put things behind us, and I have a lot of respect for The Miz. But I am hesitant to trust them as of yet.

WWE.com: How has your relationship been with your WWE Pro, The Miz?
RILEY: Great. The Miz and I get along really well. After the first mistake he made trying to come after me, we have resolved things. The Miz is a reality TV star and I am a star in reality, and that’s a match made in heaven. We’re almost like Bonnie & Clyde. Of course, he’s Bonnie and I’m Clyde.

WWE.com: What has The Miz taught you in the first two weeks of competition?
RILEY: He doesn’t really need to teach me anything. I still really do enjoy The Miz. He has furthered my development as a NXT Rookie, not that there was much more that I needed. But he has kind of brought me full circle.

WWE.com: And what’s with the symbol you made with your hands when you earned your first victory last week? It seems a little similar to the one the Miz makes.
RILEY: It had nothing to do with The Miz. I came up with that a while ago. It means “back off.” Really, it’s just, “Back off. I’m better than you. Don’t try to challenge me.” I feel like I am way above this competition.

    RAW 21ST JUNE 2010

Back from the break and out comes Randy Orton to a big pop. Orton says if the Rookies want to interfere in his match, fine. Orton says it's only a matter of time before he punts each one of them in the skull. Orton says he accepts Barrett's apology and hopes he becomes the next WWE Champion. Orton says he will be the man who takes the WWE Title from Barrett. The Miz's music hits and out comes WWE's United States Champion.

Miz says he hears voices in his head also and they say he's sick of seeing Orton in the main event, sick of seeing him on TV every week and sick of him RKO'ing people. Miz says Orton has never held the WWE US Title and the WWE Title at the same time. The Miz says the next WWE Title match is his, not Orton's. The Miz keeps talking and kicks Orton out of nowhere. Orton comes back and drops Miz. He gets ready for an RKO but Miz rolls out of the ring. Orton turns around as Edge rushes the ring. Edge drops Orton with a spear. Edge crawls in Orton's face with a mic and says "now the real fun begins Randy." Edge's music hits and he leaves the ring with Orton on the mat. Edge walks up the ramp, staring down at Orton.

MIZ ON MUSIC BLOG: SUMMER TRACKS

Summer is here which means sun, fun, lazy days (not for me maybe for you), beaches, vacations, and hot summer music.

This month I'm going to get into the best summer songs. Can you think of any? And since the Fatal 4-Way PPV is coming up, I'm going to list my four top songs of this summer.

Let's get this started shall we.

This is a little embarrassing but when I think of a summer song I think of “Summer Girls” by LFO. You know which one that is, trust me: "I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch." That one.

I remember this song so much because it came out 10 years ago right when I was getting ready to go to college and I worked at Abercrombie. (Yes, that is the truth I was a greeter and no I wasn't shirtless)

Anyway I'd go to the Flats in Cleveland, which are non-existent anymore but were amazing at the time, go to a club, and this song would be played every hour on the hour. The DJ would stop the song right at the Abercrombie part and everyone would scream the lyrics as loud as they could. For those that weren't there or even born at the time Abercrombie clothing was the Ed Hardy of today except less cheesy. Sorry, Mike the Situation.

Next up is in my opinion the greatest college bar song of all time that makes girls get on top of the bar and dance like there's no tomorrrow. “Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard. I don't know why when I think of summer I think of downtown Cleveland and this song. I guess that's my hayday of going out and listening to music. If you’re a Mizfit you had to know I'd put a Def Leppard song in there since they are my favorite band of the ’80s.

Moving on I think any Sublime song is perfect to put on while laying on the beach relaxing. Just the smooth sound of “Santeria” gets you in the mood to soak up some rays.

One song I can't stand that just came out which is supposedly a summer song but I think it's horrible is the new Katy Perry song. The worst part is next month I will probably say it's on my iPod like a Ke$ha song. Speaking of Ke$ha anyone see her on SNL? I'm no fashion designer but hers should be shot. Those outfits made her body look a little bigger than it should. Wow, that was mean but to make it up "Love is my Drug" is now on my iPod so now I have three Ke$ha songs on my iPod and every time I hear them I go “Oh no, it's that stupid song again” and end up singing it.

Time to talk about my songs of the summer and to do that all you have to do is buy one CD. And it's not "Now that's what I call music 45."

It's “Fever” by Bullet for my Valentine. I knew this CD was going to be good when I heard the first single "Your Betrayal" was released. The best part is once I got the CD as much as I liked "Your Betrayal" it wasn't even in my top four songs. I thought

Poison by BFMV was their best CD and didn't think anything could come close but Fever is right up there with it. So you want to know my top four songs for summer ...

    1. “Pretty on the Outside” by Bullet for my Valentine
    2. “Alone” by Bullet for my Valentine
    3. “Bittersweet Memories” by Bullet for my Valentine
    4. “The Last Fight” by Bullet For my Valentine

Other notables for the summer are any song from Framing Hanley's new CD, definately a good buy and lately I've been watching the movie Rockstar so “We all Die Young” is on all the time in my household.

WWE's Fatal 4-Way PPV song "Showstopper" by TobyMac is very good as well. The song "Tonight" off the same name album is my favorite probably because the singer of Skillet lends his vocals on it.

Alright, I'm done talking about summer songs I'm going to go blast BFMV while laying out by my pool getting some sun annoying my old Russian neighbors.

They won't complain because I'm The Miz and I'm Awesome!!!

    FATAL 4-WAY MATCH PREVIEW

U.S. Champion The Miz vs. R-Truth
Just days before the inaugural Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view, The Miz snatched away the United States Championship from R-Truth in a Fatal 4-Way Match on Raw, which included Zack Ryder and John Morrison. The victory began Miz’s second reign as United States Champion.

Undaunted by his loss, on that same night, Truth quickly invoked his rematch clause to try to regain the coveted title he held for just a few short weeks.

The raging rapper first seized the opportunity of a lifetime when WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart abdicated the U.S. Title to assume the hefty role of Raw General Manager. The “Hit Man” made it his priority to determine the new, undisputed bearer of the championship. The Excellence of Execution selected Truth to compete in a high stakes bout with Miz (whom Hart himself defeated to commence his brief yet momentous reign). One Lie Detector and pinfall later, “what’s up” was R-Truth’s arm, raised high in celebration as he snared the greatest accolade of his career.

Granted Miz’s most recent win against Truth came in a bout involving multiple Superstars, he’ll most likely tell you that holding the prestigious title is all that matters.

This Sunday, they’ll go one-on-one to even the score in their third encounter. Who will leave Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum proudly toting the United States Championship? Tune in live to the first-ever Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view, live this Sunday.
